These fluxes are suitable for use with most silver-based, and copper-phosphorous brazing alloys, on a wide variety of base metals. Use the selection chart below to choose a suitable flux for your application, or contact us so we can assist you in selecting the proper product for your application.

Flux System Description Flux Working Range
°F °C
B101 Low-viscosity dispensable flux for use in brazing of carbides. 1000 1600 538 871 INFO

Suitable for use with silver brazing alloys and copper-phosphorous brazing alloys with melting temperatures below 1500°F. Works well on all brazeable ferrous and nonferrous metals except those containing aluminum or magnesium. Particularly suited to brazing carbide to steel with silver brazing alloys. For higher temperature alloys, we recommend our B101-C.

B101-C Boron-modified version of B101. 1000 1700 538 927 INFO

The addition of boron to our B101 flux extends the working range of the flux for higher temperature filler metals or longer heating cycles. Suitable for use with silver brazing alloys and copper-phosphorous brazing alloys with melting temperatures below 1600°F. Works well on all brazeable ferrous and nonferrous metals except those containing aluminum or magnesium. Particularly suited to brazing carbide to steel.
